Tires are three years old, RE71R Potenza. I attribute the wear to hard driving and sun exposure.
I'm buying a new set but my tires won't be here until next week.

The small cracks are ready to seperateI know they are worn down, but they grip so well. These tires are known for that but that split is what concerns me.
That was pretty much my thought as well. Probably not a great idea in rain or snow, but on dry pavement they should be fine for a week I'd think, assuming you don't drive like a maniac.I wouldn't hesitate using them till your new tires arrive. I wouldn't drive at high speeds in the rain however.
For a moment there, I thought I was reading something from Dr. Seuss...(I do not like green eggs and ham...)I would not drive them in the rain
I would not drive them in the snow
I would not drive them on the highway
I would not drive them on a desert highway
Basically they are grocery getter tires
