How big is your stash, hoarders?

Down quite a bit from 150+ quarts from couple of years ago.

About 70+ quarts now - about 3 years supply - (about average cost of $10-12 per 5 qt jug).

I have been paring this down a lot this year. Had about ~15gal more at the beginning of the year, can't beat clearances and mismarked 3 packs. I have been giving a lot to my kid for his Roxor, Cherokee, and Avalanche, he lives in the mountains, plus dirt roads, so 3k services. Plus, using some in a couple of friends' vehicles.

Adding up all the quart bottles of various weight oils I have that are opened and have a 1/2 quart or less I would say about 3 quarts and a Fram Endurance and Mobil 1 Extended Performance filter.

Used oil I have about 2 gallons that I need to take to local County recycling facility.

Gasoline is what you will run out of if Yellowstone blows and Cali gets a 9.0 quake. In the bunker I keep 10 Scepter military jugs full and a hand drill and sealable drain pan to harvest the last few quarts of gas out of all the abandoned cars along the way.

I usually have ~500 gallons diesel on hand. Little use for gas, just a couple chainsaws, weedeater and pressure washer.

I maintain four vehicles and a honda scooter, so based on my lack of oil inventory I guess I'm not classified a oil hoarder. I do however enjoy seeing everyone else's stash.

I hoard tools. I don't hoard perishable items like oil. I like to buy oil within a month of OCI time so it's nice and new/fresh when it goes in. This is because I don't drive much and have a 3-5 years OCI (based on oil condition). It's going to be in my engine for multiple years. So I like it to be newish when it goes in.

Decades ago when my family had many cars that each drove a lot 5 days a week, we bought Pennzoil conventional 1-2 cases of it when on sale. It'd take 6-12 months to go through it. Did that count as hoarding?
