How big is your stash, hoarders?

Show and tell. All for one vehicle. This is enough for over 2-1/2 years.

Might as well share. Filter stash, not sure if this counts lol. From left to right: All but one Fram Titanium (the taped 3600) are OG wire backed I got from AAP’s clearance back in December/Jan. 7317 for my brother’s Accord, 3600/3614 for my Sequoia. The CQ Premium also from clearance. Fram Endurance 9688 was supposed to fit a ‘94 Accord I was working on, but it wouldn’t thread for whatever reason, so it’s still in my stash (maybe it’s better for H/K applications?) Honda filter was free from state/co. toxic waste recycling program, as was one of the Wix 51258 (for my 1974 Firebird.) Before this, I had no stash! This should last over a year I bet, we’ll see…

Weird thing, I think I only have maybe 4 jugs of 5W30 synth left. I was thinking I better start buying it.

Then, one of our cars was a total loss and its replacement will use 0W20. That means there is only 1 car left that uses 5W30, so now I'm glad I hadn't run it up to like 20 jugs that it once was....

Another oddity....I just got 6 more oil filters and likely have 6. I always do that with Rock Auto orders, add when shipping on something else will cover it. The new vehicle seems to use the same filter.

Time to start hoarding again? I did not realize that the new vehicle takes 8 quarts. This is a recycling nightmare because some where I live give me a look if it's more than one jug. I'll just have to say hey my car takes 8 quarts.

I maintain six vehicles, and with the recent Pennzoil, Mobil, and COSTCO promotions:

64 qts PUP 0W-40
30 qts Mobil 1 FS 0W-40
30 qts PUP 0W-20
51 qts Kirkland 0W-20
15 qts Kirkland 5W-30
15 qts Valvoline 10W-30 syn blend.
9 qts of Kawasaki 10W-40 JASO MA2
8 qts SuperTech 10W-40 JASO MA2

I made a rough count of filters this morning and came up with 87, mostly hoarding for the Ram. 10060/PH48/x2222/MO-339, etc. Some of those are gonna get sold. It's just too easy to pick up 12 packs on Ebay and Amazon.

For the Toyota:
5qt VRP 0W20 (hiding in the back)
10qt PUP 0W20
3 N1 filters

For the Hyundai:
1qt 50/50 mix of NAPA Blend 5W30 and ST FS 5W30 (in the blue NAPA bottle)
1/4qt Castrol Edge 0W20

Next change on the Hyundai will be a brew of leftovers and whatever is on sale/cheapest at the time.

Not much of a stash but I’m not much of an oil hoarder.

My stash is so large, I just had to sell 23 5 quart jugs of different brands of viscosities because I bought them in 2022, and knew I wouldn't get to them any time soon. Darn OFAD! (Oil & Filter Acquisition Disorder) lol. At least the chaps that bought it from me were happy as I cleared them out at a large discount. I had some of the unicorn tears Mobil 1 EP 0W-20 that was supposedly loaded with PAO at the time, too that I sold!

I don't have a count but I could go several years on the oil supply I do have. I don't care to hoard a lot of oil. I don't want a large supply when reformulations, such as API and ILSAC updates. Actually, when I change oil in my cars I want the most recent versons available. At some point of time something might take place that would make it very difficult to get the motor oils we prefer.
