18 quarts of HPL Premium Plus for $150 would be sweet.
 
I am waiting to get my filter cut open before I buy HPL again. In case the filter looks fine, I am staying with the good old Mobil 1 lol
 
(2) 5 quart Jugs of Mobil ESP 0W30
I maintain 4 vehicles so I guess I don't consider it hoarding yet. I have noticed the Mobil ESP oils have been selling well at our local Walmarts, maybe the word has gotten out.

I'm at the same point, namely, seeing what, if anything, my filter can show me.
I'm 66% through VRP fill #1.
Actually, I believe my vehicle was well maintained by the single, previous owner.

So, newbie, hear this.
I'm guilty of a BITOG crime by employing a remediating product without knowing I have the problem.
Part of the crime is lengthening the time lag before going to the proscribed A5,B5 oil.

Fortunately, these Valvoline cleansing runs are 95% highway.

I am not so newbie, been lurking for a decade or so lol. So how do you rate Frame Endurance? I am using it with HPL right now.

i was in on that to ,got a handful of jugs , and sold a bunch at work , months later while fiddling around on walmarts website , i had this as save for later , was trying to get the best bang for my buck in shipping , was up to 32 jugs , tried for more , and poof ,it diappeared , i was pissed
 
In the past I would buy 3 oil changes at a time and restock when I used the last one for the daily drivers. As time went on and i learned more about working on things and maintaining my equipment I wanted a bigger stock. I service about 7 vehicles and multiple OPE twice a year so I keep about 100 QTs in stock and couple cases of filters. All grades, but less of X-20. I restock when a deal comes around.

They already offer a discount to BITOG members ( 15% ) but I think it was an additional 5-10% off during Black Friday IIRC.

Because I live in Canada ( already have to deal with our low peso ) , I wanted to save on shipping and customs fees ( no fees if out of Canada long enough ). I had it shipped to a UPS store just across the border and picked it up on the way back to Canada.
 
I wasn’t around BITOG for a few years so I wasn’t catching sales and my stash isn’t much anymore. I used to have atleast 50 qts minimum laying around.
Current stash
9 qts Mobil1 Truck and SUV 5w30
4 qts Frankenbrew
5 qts Castrol 10w30/40 HM

Years ago my local Kmart had Mobil 5000 on clearance for .89 cents a quart. I bought ALL 50 quarts. The cashier rolled her eyes and just said "Whatever".

I don't.
They're spoken highly of and that's good enough for me.
The CarQuest/O'Reilly's Microgard is where I'm at now for element style.
There are other good filters, I'm sure, but, frankly, I don't have the time required to read all the material.

I read what members here have to say and digest it the best I can.

Speaking of digestion, we just returned from Easter dinner at my sis+bil's.
Bil rubbed a pork roast with rosemary, sage, garlic and pepper. 450-15 min. reduce to 300.
Beautiful carrots, bright green beans, small baked potato and Musselman's Chunky Applesauce.
Her birthday was earlier in the week so bil got her a cake. We thought it an odd inclusion.
The 2 undersized layers of tasteless cement cake were surrounded by overly thick strata of lackluster icing.
Surprisingly bad from a bakery which used to be OK.
It darn near ruined the dinner. I mean, you had to have a piece.
I gave the dog a long walk upon arriving home.

I have a 1000 gallon bulk tank. Usually keep 500-600 gallons in it.

Also a 100 gallon tank for hauling fuel to the equipment.
 
I keep getting lucky on Walmart, Amazon price and also some peace of mind. I don't trust Amazon
