it's a motorcycle forum but the end of the message talks about a diesel, 100`000miles with only one oil change and a covette 93`000miles on 3 oil changes.
Could that be ?

There are folks who believe a good diesel oil may go forever given adequate particulate filtration and additive repleneshment. 93,000(3 OCIs) in a Corvette seems absurd even for a top line premium oil. Keep reading this forum and you can see why it is good to stretch OCIs to reasonable limits given the correct engine oil combination.

What I found interesting was that Shell makes a
semi-synthetic Rotella T in a 0 and 10w30. Too bad they are so hard to find as I think they would be excellent oils for many cars.

I am curently trying the M1 T& SUV HDEO in my Chev 6 liter gas motor. I would have purchased the Rotella Semi Syn but it is not available where I live. Regular Rotella is in use in my tractors and is a very popular oil for the farm/ranch crowd.
