HOT in Cent Cal

I enjoy living where I live and really can't complain about the weather. This is considered abnormally hot for us. If I ever moved I would miss my friends deeply.

Summer,,, when I lived in Palo Cedro Calif. there was a week with some 117 *f days. I liked it.

I've been in Cali since 1958, I had to look up Palo Cedro. Yep, it can get hot up that way. My wife Sue was Fort Bragg girl. Up in your direction but a whole different planet weather-wise.

As some like to say, it's not the heat, it's the humidity, or it's a dry heat.
Around here, temperatures in the nineties are accompanied with at least 70% RH and it feels awful.
When we catch the rare low humidity hot day it seems pretty comfortable.

Hottest I have worked in was 122F. I visited Shoshone,ca one day and it was 124F.

Baker,ca which is a place to pee between Los Angelas and Vegas sees 117F often that I know of.
