Santa Barbara is gorgeous and is a way of life.I enjoy living where I live and really can't complain about the weather. This is considered abnormally hot for us. If I ever moved I would miss my friends deeply.

I've been in Cali since 1958, I had to look up Palo Cedro. Yep, it can get hot up that way. My wife Sue was Fort Bragg girl. Up in your direction but a whole different planet weather-wise.Summer,,, when I lived in Palo Cedro Calif. there was a week with some 117 *f days. I liked it.

Hottest I have worked in was 122F. I visited Shoshone,ca one day and it was 124F.I didnt even know we had earthly temperatures this high.
Furnace Creek has been as high as 134*F, but that was 1913.I didnt even know we had earthly temperatures this high.
