Honda push mower oil

Does the honda push mower use regular 10w30 oil for break in oil?

Amsoil has an awesome 10w30/30 oil designed for small air cooled engines. recommended for use wherever SAE 10w30 or SAE 30 oil is specified in gasoline or diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics and chain cases that require the following:
API SL, SJ, SH, SG...(Gasoline)
API CF, CD (Diesel)
JASO MA/MA2 (Motorcycle Wet Clutch)
Engine manufacturers include - Briggs & Stratton, Kohler, Honda, Tecumseh, Robin, Kawasaki, Onan, Kubota, Yanmar, Wisconsin, Power Train, Vanguard and Linemar. I use it in 2 honda lawnmowers, a Lawnboy mower, an Ariens snowblower, and 2 golf carts.

I've got a Generac Generator. Who made the engine?

They recomend 10w-40 in it but I'm sure that the Amsoil stuff would be fine. I've ran thicker oil in it but it's a real pain to get started with it.

I ran the cheap stuff from Lowes. Then mid way i drained and ran Amsoil small engine oil...great stuff.
