The "fabric" liner on the factory Bando belts can sometimes make a difference, IME. The factory ones also seem to stretch less - as evident by where the arrow often points on the tensioner.
Thank you, Critic. The arrow pointer is exactly in the middle of the two wear lines and does not jump around with engine idling. Looking back, I did not air bleed that OE tensioner when I installed it and new Bando about 20k ago. Probably doesn't matter. But I'm a nitpicker about these things LOL
Regarding "factory", you mean from the car factory and not retail OE replacement? Interesting point about that. From now on, I'll just purchase replacement parts from dealer. Too much fooling around and guessing to get good parts and fit from aftermarket chicom parts sources. Cheaper in the long run and probably safer.

Doesn't matter at this point. If there was an issue with a lack of bleeding, the mounting bolts for the tensioner would have broken off within weeks.
