Honda Filters

Just saw online the Honda dealer sells Honda filters for $5.48. Filtech Toyo Roki. Is an "upgrade" to Wix, M1, etc really worth paying more for?

jfi, the Filtech filters sold here in the good ol' USA (A01s) are manufactured here by Filtech in Illinois. Decent filter, certainly better than the A02 in construction, but I wouldn't necessarily characterize it as an upgrade from Wix/NAPA's Gold, etc.

And, no, $5.48 doesn't include shipping from (H&A) in CA.

I've used a bunch of those over the years on my old Acura. Great filters, never had a failure and every one I've cut open looked great. My only beef with them is that the efficiency was very low.

Better check that filter again. The ones I've seen say Made in the USA "from overseas components".
