Honda cycle filter made in Canada?

Changed the oil & filter in my CB400 and, looking at the old filter (which was done by a local metric shop), began wondering who made it. Can't take a picture of it, but it was pretty nondescript...other than the word "Canada" printed on both metal endcaps. Nothing else was written or stamped on it.

Anybody know who might have made this filter? I'm sure it's fairly obvious to all, 'cept me...

funny, the last couple of filter I bought for my '82 Goldwing were made in Korea.go figure.,,

Looked at a Fram filter in Walmart. It was made in Canada.
