normal driving or do you take it on the track as well? I mean, looks great for ~1180 miles on a modified car I would think.

I drive this kilometres without racetrack. Next Saison I will try a longer run with this oil and I would make a analysis after few1000 kilometres.

Typical FS result, low visco from new (vs New Life) but very good performance. You can do with that driving many more kms/time.

pd: good beast

Thanks a lot. In Germany this oils are on no good position , too much VI. I can lough about that, Porsche know‘s what is good for the cars.
Manthey Racing use Mobil 1 0W40 for GT3,RSR and 919 Hybrid. 😬👌

Well, anyway some day you can test alternative oil as Motul X-Max 0w40, Castrol Edge 0w40 A3 and C3, Total/Elf 0w40 (here they have similar price) or Meguin, Ravenol probably easier to buy there.

I am not a friend of Ravenol , they are expensive and I cannot see the advantage of this oil for those high prices. Why is this Forum so positiv to engine oils with so high VI and German Forums not ?
Greetings

Uhhh VI the Pandora box

Sometimes people choose oil because VI. It's basic rule but there are more things behind. It's like higher or lower zinc, B4 or C3... Depending on case you can have better results with lower VI or weaker pkg adds. VI changes with base oil and improvers, sometimes super mega VI in the bottle after 5.000 kms go to regular VI, other no spectacular VI oil maintain properties much time and wear is lower.

VI is not critical parameter for me, I prefer more real stable oil after 15.000 kms than +x VI points when new, but it's complex and need much read and test. Same for visco, typical comment "I need 14 cst visco because oil comsumption bla bla, that 13 cst oil is not good because it will burn bla bla bla" or "I drive hard, I will put w60 Racing Mega Oil for my w40 spec engine so better protection" It's not so simple.

My engine ist for 0w20, but this viscosity habe the most engines today, but they have another option to use w30,or w40 engine oil. I would try this Mobil 1 fs 0w40 because I have good results on my car with that. Do you think that Mobil 1 esp x 0W40 is better then fs 0w40? Or should I try it and find out with analysis if it is good ?
Herby nice Forum here, thanks very much.

M1 ESP 0w40 is very good mid saps, specially X3 has brutal VI because GTL, could be good for med runs not so good as FS for long runs. I saw New Life and FS with excessive 30k kms runs and holding it. I'd test Castrol Edge 0w40 C3 first, so you could compare hybrid FS formulation vs mainly PAO in Castrol or same test but full saps with Elf 900 FT/Total 9000 energy/Valvoline Synpower 0w40 50-75% PAO.

Probably you have lower wear with low visco oil, really you should test again Honda 0w20 or 0w30, Fe could be better and Alu little worse, but good oil w20-w30 probably will have lowest general wear for normal driving and some hard run.

In only drive 5000 kilometres the season, not more. I think both Mobil 1 engine oils are very good, but I try the fs 0W40 for next time. If I had a particle filter , I would use ESP 0W40.

Ravenol is majority PAO, which means less VII in the mix quite likely, as the slate of PAO base oils is much broader than for GTL. It also has better low temp performance and a very good Noack.

This is Right, but i only Drive in the summer. Do you think it will give better Engine oil for ne than mobil 1 fs? Or is this a very good one?
