My father has an 06' Honda Accord 4cyl, and has a light that's lit on his dash that looks like a wrench. I don't live with him, and don't have access to his manual, so could anybody tell me what that might be? I'm thinking maybe it's the change oil reminder, but i'm just guessing. Thanks.

I believe that is the service indicator meaning it's time for an oil change. I have a friend with an 07 civic and I'm pretty sure it's the same.

Maintenance Minder Indicator

"This indicator reminds you that it is
time to take your vehicle in for
scheduled maintenance. The
maintenance main items and sub
items will be displayed in the
information display. See page 193 for
more information on the
maintenance minder.
This indicator goes off when your
dealer resets it after completing the
required maintenance service."

Here's a nice link to all manufacturer's owner's manuals, if they are provided online for free (some are, a lot aren't):

It's the Oil Life Monitor telling you that a service is due. Be aware that the OLM not only tells you that it is time for an oil service, but also when other items are due. Be sure to perform all other items that it asks for prior to resetting it or else you'll mess up the intervals.
