(Note: Some other bottles from the dealer's current stock were labled: GF-3 and Made in Japan, but otherwise appear identical down to the part number: 08798-9022. My Insight recieved a mix of both variations and a UOA will be upcomming after about 5K miles.)

So do most of the other GF-4 VOAs we've seen. Until we find out more about how these new oils are being built, I don't think we can judge them based on what we see in a typical VOA.

The GF-3 formula probably did. As we are seeing, however, GF-4 is a whole new ball game when it comes to additive technology. There are lots of additive chemistries now being used that just don't show up in a typical oil analysis.

I think a lot of people saw the UOAs of Honda's factory fill and assumed Moly was an large ingredient. This isn't necessarily true however, it could very well be from assembly lube or other sources.

there was a lab that tested antimony. I saw it in a UOA along time ago. wish I remembered which one. GF-4 oils need to be tested for it.

The technician at my Honda dealer told me that Honda 0W20 is Mobil 1. Although it could be a special formula made just for Honda, I can't help but wonder if it's stock Mobil 1 0W-20 Advanced Fuel Economy oil. Please compare the oil analysis above to the links below and tell me what you think:

It's a dino oil, at least the 0W-20 Honda brand that's currently sold in Canada is.
I'd really like to know the Vis @ 40C to get a better handle on this oil.

I was also informed it was made by Mobil and relabled as Genuine Honda Oil.

Yes XOM is the supplier but the 0W-20 is not synthetic.

I haven't heard of or seen ANY dino/syn blend 0W20. Can anyone prove such oil exists?

Total Europe, if to believe its MSDS for 0W-20, makes it from gr.III. Theoretically 0W-20 in dino/syn blend is quite possible. But again, it's necessary to define first what each understands under dino and synthetic.
