Homer's "The Odyssey"

While many of the changes from the original poem are disappointing to me, the one that really has me turned off is the decision to not portray Penelope and Odysseus as very smart and clever. In my opinion, their cunning nature is one of the most important elements to the story, and makes it quite intriguing.

I will still watch it, but perhaps wait until it is streaming, instead of catching it in the theater.

I also liked (as did all their fans) their musical rendition of the Charge of the Light Brigade (The Trooper). Of course Aces High was a great rendition of the Battle of Britain. Yeah I would have loved for them to have done either the Iliad or the Odyssey.

Me too! Their rendition of the “Rime of the Ancient Mariner” is fantastic. The live version on YouTube is killer also. They also did Alexander the Great. Really good stuff.
