Hiss sound from new struts normal?

I installed new OEM Toyota struts on my 2000 Camry roughly 500 miles ago. I noticed that whenever I drive over speed bumps, the front struts tend to make a quick “hiss” sound. I can’t for the life of me remember if this is normal or not as the rears don’t make the same noise. All of my other vehicles are on Bilsteins and are quiet over bumps.

Toyota uses Sachs as the manufacturer for the front struts and KYB for the rear struts.

That's pretty normal. Some struts do it, some don't. Old struts with air in them will also hiss

My Nissan OEM (Sachs) front struts did that since brand new. Just replaced them with KYBs and they make the same exact hiss. My Honda OEM (Showa) do not make any kind of hiss. Therefore I suspect certain designs do this more than others but appears to be normal.
