higher efficiency cross for wix 51453?

I was wondering if anyone knew of a filter that has better media/higher rating than wix #51453

App is the spin-on hydrualic filter for a IH Hydro 70 w/ D312 diesel.

Just wondering if there is a "better" filter out there.

IDK an answer, but on the other hand, I largely ignore Wix's posted beta numbers as they are all over the map. Perhaps the numbers they post are out of date, or taken at maximum flow rate of 9 gpm (or whatever). I don't know.

I know it's not an SAE or ISO test, but when I examine the media in the microscope and try filtering with them, the media seems to be as good as Mobil 1 or K&N, and usually falls between Purolator Classic and PureOne.

They also seem to contradict themselves on the website when they list the media as paper on the filter pop-up data (where the beta's are), and the rest of the info is based on the fact that they actually use glass enhanced blend.
They also say that their media stops essentially all particles above 25 microns.

You could try a...I think it is a Purolator H30059, But I doubt you will improve long term wear significantly if at all, over a Wix.

Just my opinions.

In filtration efficiency? The PureOne is highest rated I'm pretty sure, of all readily available off the shelf filters.
