These are rely from gold plug . Should I try over torque the drain plug . Factory recommend 20ft-fbs, gold plug told me to try 30, I think it might be too much .

I just put an M14 in an '05 Duramax engine pan. Again, not really seeing how bad things can happen unless the plug just falls out

I like Gold plugs but that Chinese one looks like a decent well machined part.

I just put a cheapo in an older Civic EX; hope it doesn't break apart. It was sitting in the top drawyer of my roll around, so why not use it, right?

I use Votex and Gold Plug. Both stainless, both USA made but the Votex seem a bit better machined IMHO.

Yes it’s fixed . After email gold plug customer support . They send me 5x new washer for free. Install the washer with the flat side to the oil pan. Even though the customer support said it not matter.
