High Performance Lubricants Euro oils...whose going to try it?

I will have to find some some information to share on that. The short version is a star polymer would resemble the plasma sphere at the Spencer gifts store. There is a common core to which the chains are attached. If one chain is fragmented there are others on the core to carry the load. OCP’s would more resemble a strand of spaghetti. If that strand is broken you end up with 2 short strands that are less effective.

@High Performance Lubricants - For a non-Euro application, is there any advantage to using this 0W-20 over one of your other ones?
Our Premium plus series will use the same good raw materials but utilizing a DEX 1 Gen 2 /SP DI pack. I would say that the starting points are higher for the Euro oils vs domestic. We are so far from a normal starting point that the difference would be small. However I would still use the appropriate applicable Strategies as they contain the correct starting point for the intended use. We just spend a lot of effort to make legitimate improvements.

There are a few good things to mention. First there is a BITOG15 discount code which nets you 15% off. Next evidenced by the -71F pour point it is clear to see the utilization of PAO. Further when you factor in the use of Alkylated Naphthalene and ester and star polymers, you can begin to understand why we are not formulated for a discount store.

The oil will do an excellent job. It’s my job to make sure that happens.

Mobil makes a fine 0w40. We are not a good fit for everyone.

For those who share the same philosophy we’ll likely be good friends.

My real question is what does better actually mean? How much longer will it make your engine last vs using Mobil 1 0w40? I'd want to see an actual cost benefit analysis.

Oil is about performance to me all of today's oils will make your engine last but I cannot afford to lose 1+hp at anytime 😁

These days the "Euro" adjective is nothing more than a marketing ruse. How do you know that it is so indeed.
You want a euro oil? Get one own by a euro company and manufactured there. Oil in EU gets a beating because the distances are much shorter than here so cold starting and short trips are a killer and if it performs well there than it will perform even better here.

The oil has to meet Euro specs so it should be stout in that sense.

It sounds like HPL is a top notch operation. I wouldn’t doubt any of their products.

Not true in this case.

The Euro line is designed for longer drain intervals, better HTHS, and other performance specifications appropriate to high performance European cars.

Need to read up on what HPL actually makes before making blanket condemnations based solely on word choice.
