I have a 2007 Ford Edge that just hit 100,000. Most of our driving is around town. I have always used semi synthetic but my supply is low. Should I make switch to high mileage oil it not? Car does not smoke or use oil at all. Time
to stock back up high mileage or if it's not broke don't fix it.

One of the great things that ive learnt here at BITOG is that if the engine is not burning or leaking oil, there is no need to use a high mileage oil.

If what you're doing is working then keep doing it until it doesn't work. 100K miles means your engine is now broken in and you can now look forward to many more miles.

Since you didn't say it's burning/leaking excessive amounts, in a word, no. 100,000 miles is nothing. Although every situation is different, there is a mere 166K on our Windstar and no way it needs High Mileage oil.

Not leaking? Nope! No difference between 99,999 and 100,000.

"If it ain't broke...."

Its the seal swelling additives I personally would avoid until all else has been tried. If a seal can be easily replaced then replace it. So one is really talking about the main seals. And maybe a few others. Almost all gaskets can be replaced.

My 4 Runner just turned 249,000 miles.

When it gets to high mileage, then I might start using a high mileage oil...

Run whatever you can get at the best price that you feel comfortable with. The advantage to the High Mileage oils is that they have higher amounts of AW additives, and tend to be a bit more robust.

Mobil 1 High Mileage is a great oil and not everyone uses it because it may help with minor leaks... It has an excellent additive package and I know guys that use it in low mileage cars. I use it in a 32K mile Jag XJS which does not have any leaks. LOL.

Its sure not necessary, but not going to hurt anything if you decide to use it.
