High Maintenance girls

Are they a deal breaker to you? Any attracted to them? Dated one? Theres a girl I know, shes a young cub at 22, still very fresh but naive. It takes her 3.5hrs to get ready everyday. She gets bugged by her sisters cause shes always adjusting her makeup and hair and top every 20mins. Wont go anywhere without her hair and makeup done. She leaves the house at 6:45 and gets up at 3:15am. gross.

Known any high maintenance girls before? Tell your stories. To me, life is too short to be wasting so much time and effort on making yourself look perfect everyday.

You won't be bored with her. It's a good thing that she cares about how she looks, probably takes care of herself too. Not a bad thing, unless she is shallow. If she looks good and has a good personality too, that is a great combination and is a rare find in my opinion.

Not worth it. If she has to be all done up to look good, then there is a problem there. Think of 10 years down the line - dont want to have too much upkeep down the line. You want natural beauty who upkeeps well and looks good with nothing done.

You want a girl who is good looking and knows it and stays natural. Someone who puts that much work into it has a complex of some sort.

LOL! My gal is low maintenance, never wears makeup (unless there's semi-formal or formal events that requires full dress up or similar.

She never spend a lot of time shopping at all, not for her own self anyways (but our kids). Frugal and very practical, sometimes I have to beg her to put on some lip balm.

I agree with JHZR2 somewhat: some of those high-maintenance gals may have a complex or something(or feeling vulnerable or lack of self-confidence?!) and they would do anything they could to put that makeup on so as to mask (or cover up) their insecurity in order to go out to the world, day-in and day-out.

I know quite a few gals in my 'hood that cherish natural beauty...

Excessive makeup at 22 means she'll want excessive plastic surgery at 32. Avoid her completely? Depends on what you want out of her. Just don't take her home to meet mama......

Sorry high maintenance women do not work for me. Just find out if you like her personality and can live and enjoy living with it. Because if you want a long term relationship you will have to live together at some point, so it comes down to what you prefer along with your significant other. Happy wife happy life this goes with a serious GF also.

I'll admit it, I know a couple of these, and I think they're fairly cool people in general. Yes, they are high maintenance, but if you are not dating them they are kinda neat to be around.

Why? Because they go out so much, they know many people and many cool places to go. And more interaction with new people can lead to new opportunities.

Maybe just date her and see how she is? My definition of high maintenance is being needy and whinny, not spending extra time getting ready.

Besides, I would rather her take the time to look nice rather than look like - and probably smell like - some hippy occupier skank. No?
