HID bulb on 2017 impala premier

I'm trying to change the HID bulb on impala premier 2017. It's giving me a heck of a time though.

I read I needed to remove the bumper so I've been working on that but seem to have hit a wall since I don't have a jack and am finding the lower bolts difficult to get to.

I tried just changing the bulb regularly by unscrewing the cover but I don't seem to have enough room.

Any ideas what I can do?

I don't know about the Impala but my corevtte you have to take off the front wheel and remove part of the front wheel well inner fender panel. To access HID from the backside. Some other GM vehicles are like this also.

I am wondering if small screwdrivers, right angled electric screwdrivers might help? I would note that you should work hard to get this fixed. In my view, the last iteration of the Impala was arguably the best American full sized family car ever. I wish I had bought one, and would put money down now if they relaunched it now that EV nonsense is waning. I actually think that Impala was superior or equal to any foreign offering. No question that changing bulbs should be easier than this.

What about the impala do you like?

It's very roomy and hasn't had many issues so far at 117k miles miles minus the AC breaking right outside its recall warranty
