Here's the video that Yvan Lacroix made while visiting my garage.

Where are the audit results?

It's very anti-climactic to watch 20 minutes of video and then there's nothing but a generic "Thanks for watching" at the end. There's no summary, etc. Just a "We're gonna go to the bus and give him his report."

And then????? nothing .....

It wasn't so much of an audit, as it was a commentary on how it may not be the ultimate garage, but it serves my purposes. It cmae as soon as he sat down. He said It may not be the Taj Mahal, but it's what he (I) want and what he (I) need. Part of the 'audit' was given during the audit, in the garage, where he says that my setup probes that you don't have to have the biggest or best stuff to properly detail.

I think your garage is very similar to a lot of others. Folks work hard to enjoy their "get away" place; someplace they can sneak into and just lose themselves in the moment. I'm not commenting on your garage, but the intent of the video; it's misleading. The channel is called "Garage Audit". And at the end it's verbally indicated there's some sort of report to be reviewed.

And then we're left hanging.

Did the video cut off on you? I think that I'm the first (maybe only) person to get audited that ISN'T a 'working shop.'

I saw approximately 19 minutes of video; is that not the full presentation?

I think you're missing my point.

The video channel is referred to as an "audit", meaning things are reviewed and scored to measurable standards, so to speak.
Then at the end, at 17:53, he says "... we're gonna go to the bus and give him his report."

So, did you get a "report", or some kind of summary? If so, is there some reason you're not sharing it?
Or, is there no "report" and his video is incomplete?
Either way, it's anti-climatic. The viewer is left hanging, wonder what the "report" status is.

To be clear, this isn't your fault. I see this as a production error on his part.

I've watched several of these, and there is no 'grade,' or 'number' score given to any of the shops or garages. He usually comments during the video, towards the end, with suggestions on improving their shop. Then usually a "recap" of his suggested upgrade or improvements.

Like I mentioned, I believe that up to this point, I am the only person to get visited that is primarily a devote enthusiast, and not primarily in it as a side-hustle or full on business (not to say that I don't occasionally do a for pay job).

One of the points he frequently stresses to beginning detailers that they don't need to buy every tool or the top of the line equipment, etc and was using me as an example.

Nice that you got to meet him in person, obviously you hold him in high regard. Your first post got me mildly interested in DIY to up my unsophisticated detailing. I’ve watched half a dozen DIY videos and can’t warm to their smart guy-dumb guy routine and they keep sending mixed messages about what product does what. If I hear the word emulsify one more time I’m going to throw out the mayonnaise.

Anyway congrats on your 15 minutes of YT fame. 👍🏻

I readily admits two things.

1) Never heard of this guy or his channel
2) My garage/shop is larger, but I have become too embarrassed to paste pictures, too embarrassed to ask for organization help, too weak from the hernia surgery..........
