Help with rough 1-2 shift when Trans is hot

I've got an 01 Malibu with 45k on it and no major problems except intake gasket leak. I get a rough shaking 1-2 shift after the car has been driven for an hour or so. It never happens on a cold engine or if the car hasn't been driven for at least an hour. I've changed the Trans oil and filter with no change at all, my guess is something electrical breaking down with heat but I show no codes on a scanner. The car has had 3k mile oil & filter changes and new fuel filter and plugs.

Do a long search on here. I've used A-Rx with excellent results in several transmissions, and I have used SCHAEFFERS 204-Supreme to help keep them in good condition. (Have posted, at length, several times in re 2001 JEEP Cherokee).

A proper clean-out, proper fluid (buy your own to ensure quality and compatibility), and a WWW search for other complaints of this sort on your vehicle make/model/year will be of help.

(Have to ask this: Have you checked fluid level (on level ground) per manual instructions? I'd do so immediately after having that problem occur, and would check it at other temps as a basis of comparison.
