This is my used oil analysis on my nearly 150k mile crown vic police interceptor. It has 574 idle hours. This oil change was done using a Mobil 1 oil filter, and Mobil 1 5w20 extended performance high mileage formula. The vehicle has a custom e85 tune and e85 was used exclusively for the past 10-15k miles. The air filter used is a Wix air filter, common type. It consumed almost exactly 1qt of oil. It endured roughly a dozen 1/4 mile passes, as well as a couple 1/2 mile passes, and was typically driven 25-40mi at a time, typically 55-80mph.

It used almost exactly 1qt. 6qt total capacity. This brings the dip from registering just a hair above the F, to about 1/3 from the bottom of the hashed section. This photo taken just prior to change.

I see why you've picked the 5k intervals. Thanks for the details. Is that 5k used oil in the pic? Looks like very clean oil!

I presume fuel dilution would show up in csf or flash.
They have been shown to have difficulty in measuring proper viscosity in the past. And flash point is the worst. Intrinsically difficult and subjective to measure anyway, and this is what their fuel dilution estimates are based upon. Do they even use the correct estimation method for a predominantly ethanol dilutant? It's not the same as for a predominantly octane fuel. Yes there is an ASTM test for this method but it is called out as a screening test only within the procedure due to the high uncertainty.

No way I'd extend an OCI on their analysis especially with E85. But hey, maybe that's just me.

That's got to be the cleanest 5k oil I've ever seen. I'm sure the added qt helped. I'd try extending the OCI based on that alone. I don't see any concerns in the report. How much time was that 5K OCI? I'd also go up to a 5W-30 especially if doing 1/4-mile runs
