Trying to learn more more about 0w20 oils and by reading some posts here I take it that a lower @40c is better when it comes to colder weather? I've been reading some MSDS sheets on oils I'm considering and they read as
Pennzoil Platinum 0w20 40c 46.8
100 c 8.6
Viscosity 164
Royal Purple 42.58
8.37
177
Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy 44.8
8.7
173
Quaker State Ultimate Durability 42.6
8.39
175
Valvoline Synpower. 47
8.8
169
Amsoil Signature Series. 49.1
9
TGMO 36.1
8.5
By looking at this info should I be able to tell which would be a better flowing oil at lower temps?
Or to break it down further, what do these numbers mean and should it matter to me?
Thanks
