Help Me Pick A Viscosity for my Honda S2000

I also own a S2K and I found 0w30 german castrol works well all year long, so dont get stuck on only 10w30. But do consider the best oil for your 9K rpm reving car. Amsoil ATM 10w30 may be the best bet, that what a lot of the S2Ker's run And you could do 10K mile OCI's too. Honda has changed oil filter supplers and there somwhat differnt than the older ones. Honda has been recommending 10w30 or 5w-40 since 1999.
IMO one has to look at both viscosity's to understand what they are saying.
The F20 was designed around a 30 weight, but why use a 40 weight when its cold?
Because of the 5W, meaning cold temp flow.
(I'm thinking like Honda here)
Combine the 2, 30 weight and cold temp flow, and look at the calendar.
Its 2009.

Sure, 10w30 will work fine.
5w30, depending on the brand/type, probably flows better in the cold.
0W-30, especially true syn oils, will flow better.
GC 0w30 might be the only exception.

I'm using SSO.
My S2000 is a DD.

Btw..

for using 75W-110 in your diff.
Much better IMO than that 75W-90 diff water

most use.
Put 240 HP in front of a 7" ring & pinion that turn in only 800cc of oil and use 75W-90 is asking for trouble down the road in my book.
Honda recommends SAE 90, and in 1999 that meant it could be as thick as 24 cSt.
Oh well....
