Help me pick a new battery

Batteries are fickle products. I have had the exact opposite experience. Both East Penn flooded batteries lasted less than two years, but all my Clarios are going strong. Many years past their warranty period. But I don't trash East Penn, they can make a bad batch here and there, just like any manufacturer.

Exactly. I have a very old jci in service but thats about 20 years old and probably not representative of current quality. Honestly none of them are. I can say the everstart/duralast/diehard marine batteries last about 2 years on the nose regardless of what I do.
