The goodyears are rather more expensive, but have a UTCG (or whatever) of 720 A B.
The BFG T/A is 400 AA A (a double A in traction?)
And the G009 is 440 A A.

The latter two are considered performance all-seasons and have a full nylon cap ply that helps reduce heat build up and holds a tire together in case of blowout. I would guess (without looking it up) that the GY Assurance TripleTred doesn't have a full nylon cap. I think they're all H speed rated in the stock '02 Accord size (205/60R15?).

I was just going to ask that, because the Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S just got added back onto that list. I'm having a hard time differentiating between these tires and their ratings. Clearly the Michelin and the Goodyears are "All Season Tires" and the other two are "Performance All Season". Does that correlate with their UTCG (700-800 or 400-460) respectively? If I'm looking for the best tire of this bunch to run 6-8 months a year, with the possibility of having to drive once or twice in *light* snow but otherwise dry or wet, with the best wet traction available, how the heck do I determine which of these to buy? This has become a frustrating experience, but if somebody can help me differentiate among the four tires listed I'd really appreciate it.

Hey Ben, regarding the Conti's - I spoke with a guy that deals day-in and day-out with tires - he said he would not even sell me the Contis, apparently they have sidewall issues much more frequently than others. He thinks the triple treads or the pilots are the way to go, but that any of the others I listed would be fine.

There are things I like about all of them but I'm having a hard time differentiating.

Meh! I threw caution to the wind and purchased the Michelins.
Thank you everybody for your help and suggestions, I'm sure most anything is better than the OEM Bridgestone EL42's.

I bought a set of those as a present to my parents for their Camry.

Take a look at Michelin Harmony tires.
