RA shows a bunch of brands (including Beck Arnley). I can get OEM Toyota but I don’t wish to pay $300 for the pair (that’s with the recent discount). I attached pics below:
I've had good luck with Beck Arnley sway bar links. Wow is that what Toyota wants?? sheesh.. a little pricey!RA shows a bunch of brands (including Beck Arnley). I can get OEM Toyota but I don’t wish to pay $300 for the pair (that’s with the recent discount). I attached pics below:
Yes Toyota is pricey! I was leaning towards Beck Arnley too but don’t know who or where the part origin will beI've had good luck with Beck Arnley sway bar links. Wow is that what Toyota wants?? sheesh.. a little pricey!
ya the ones I've gotten were taiwan made. guess inflation is finally hitting Toyota, for awhile their prices weren't going up.. I know when I was comparing other makes with the Beck Arnley ones, I liked how metal/rod wasn't thin and the ball joints moved smoothly but not flopping around.Yes Toyota is pricey! I think you’re right about rolling the dice lolya the ones I've gotten were taiwan made. guess inflation is finally hitting Toyota, for awhile their prices weren't going up.. guess you'll just have to roll the dice![]()
I went to the junkyard the other day and was comparing the two (US built and Japan built sitting next to each other) and I couldn’t really see much of a difference. I did however notice that the rear door rubber stoppers were nicer on the Japan built car and the rear doors closed more solidly. I know people prefer the Japan built stuff but I’m really happy with my Kentucky built car. After looking at that, I'm wondering what the difference is between a U.S. and Japan made Camry.![]()
yup the kentucky can get really close to the japan one. But it's odd there are production line differences. Same thing with the civic of my generation, some were made in Japan, they have different components like the wiper motor design.I went to the junkyard the other day and was comparing the two (US built and Japan built sitting next to each other) and I couldn’t really see much of a difference. I just discovered that some of them are adjustable and some aren't. Maybe that's the U.S. / Japan thing.![]()
actually.. if this is like my scion tC, the rear lower arms are also the tie-rods for the rear tires. so it should be adjustable.I just discovered that some of them are adjustable and some aren't. Maybe that's the U.S. / Japan thing.![]()

The one you circled in green, on my car you can grab the link and twist it a lot. It’s like the bushings are made out of marshmallows lol. The rest of the rods are solid and won’t twist.Camry rear suspension can be a little confusing
There's two lateral links, one adjustable (that's your rear toe setting) one not

Green and yellow are your lateral links, the ones rearmost to the vehicle are your rear toe adjustment
Blue is the strut rod
I used TRW when I did mine, they seem ok
Lots of anti seize on the threads, your alignment man will appreciate it
IMO if they aren't obviously bad, leave the two facing the gas tank alone
The toe adjustability and the strut rod bushings wearing are of greater importance
TRW is now owned by ZF. It seems TRW had some really good aftermarket products mostly for Euro cars but only where they are OE supplier. It seems ZF is trying to correct that and position them as alternative to OE for Asian amd American vehicles.Camry rear suspension can be a little confusing
