UG_Passat,
I would like better than OEM MPG at least. Worse would not be good as these POS Dunlops aren't a very high bar to begin with in terms of any metric whatsoever.
Having a 4 inch dump of snow early December or mid April is a very real possibility, so I don't want to sacrifice too much on All Season capability whatever that may be.
Having good tire wear, great stopping and handling would be a plus.
BUT, if there is a LRR tire that can knock a VERY noticeable amount of fuel consumption off of my MPGs that would be a lot of fun too.
So far I have narrowed it down to a safe bet: Michelin Defenders.
But I am looking into Michelin Energy Savers for kicks. I have to tally up the drawbacks.
Also, please note I am an extremely conservative driver.
I don't even push the OEM Dunlops anywhere near their limits in any condition.
Thanks a lot guys!
