Have you checked the box your new radiator came in to see if the fittings are included?

If you're talking about the flare nuts on your tranny lines, I would just wire-brush them and reinstall.

If you're talking about the fittings that go into the radiator, leave them alone-- you can crack the rad or disturb the sealant by messing with them.

In short, slap this car back together, don't worry about a little cosmetic rust.

Yes the fittings on the tranny line..not the radiator.the tranny line. Can I remove those? And from pics which would be the replacements?

The end of the line is flared, so that rusty nut can't be removed without cutting the line. That connector is probably just fine where it counts. Unless the steel lines are rotting out or leaking at the crimps where the rubber sections attach, you should be able to use them again. Use a flare wrench.

Rockauto has a GM lower line for $21.79 and upper lines by Dorman and another brand I've never heard of for less than that. Maybe one of the GM parts places would have both lines.

That's what I kinda figured. I used flare tool 3 years ago on it.what I didn't know was if they could be removed. Now I know! They do make quick connect for the tranny cooler line too radiator...those work on?
I kinda did figure out, line would have to cut...not going through all that.lines still look good shape. I'll use some rust remove,or maybe jewelry cleaner on n the fittings.
Can I spray the connect line part on radiator, with anti rust spray?

Like eljefino said above, you can clean the rust up with a wire brush. Just be sure to keep debris out of the line. You could then spray the nut with something after connecting to the new radiator. If the new radiator has the same setup as your old one, I would hold the bigger nut (greenish in your photo) with one wrench and snug the line fitting with another.

The quick-connects are a completely different design. They seal with an 0-ring and the line is held in by a wire clip. I don't know when they first came out, but the 1999-up GM pickup redesign had them.
