Ok, Maybe a little off topic... I bought most of my tools and my Snap on tool box long before I met my wife. Her mind is blown by what some of this stuff cost. She also hates it when I purchase new tools. I point out that once I own a tool, it's forever. I can then do the intended job again and again without spending on the tool.
NOW... Her loves are shoes and handbags. My head almost explodes when I learn she paid 300 dollars for a pair of shoes that are not waterproof, insulated, electrically protected or even warm. And she wears them for a season and then they're gone!! Handbags are even worse.
So tell me, which is the better investment?
Timberland Pros are usually on sale for 79 dollars and I get a year out of them.
