Headphones

I have some Sony headphones. Don’t recall the model and that part broke off. A lot of the plastic part of the band broke off and the pads are separating after 3+ years. But it’s primarily wireless Bluetooth, but also operates as a standard headphone when plugged in and driven by a device. It still works great, but I don’t know about the durability.

Sony work ok but sound is medium OK - pairing fights a bit

Then I went JBL. Seamless and better sound, IMHO. Pick a JBL model that fits your budget. They are same range as Sony.

I'd point out that at least with my Sony ones, the noise cancelling only works in Bluetooth mode. If it's plugged in and receiving input sound, it operates completely passive.

Interesting. On the Soundcore one I linked to previously, noise cancelling can be enabled in both BT and line-in mode.
