i have a many questions about hdeos, mainly rotella t6
does t6 have more detergent than other oils
or hdeo have more detergents than others for that matter.

if anyone has time please educate me on hdeo and their use in gas engines besides just for the ZDDP

HDEOS have more of everything [usually] than passenger car motor oils. They are designed to protect your gas or diesel engine in the most demanding commercial use. That being said if a pcmo oil gives you all the protection your engine needs and lasts through the oil change interval there probably won't be any realized benefit from using a HDEO.

In the modern world ZDDP has no clout. Hedo's are good for hard task engines.

Why did those 70's motors only shortly. Zddp was there.

No it's because some people aren't happy unless they are screwing up a good thing.

Adding MMO to T6 is like diluting a fine, cask strength Highland single malt with pond water.

Not for best results. It's due to folklore and ignorance.
