Just picked up a clean 78 Amc Concord with a 258.I want to run hdeo but am wondering if I should go with Rotella 5w40 Syn,10w30 semi syn,or 15w40,straight 30 conventional.Or possibly Delo 10w30?

Rotella T5 10w30 would likely be a good choice.
Rotella T6 5-40 and forget about it. Just don't change it too soon. Run it for 5000 miles or so as long as you're engine is in good shape.
It works great in my old relic and it will in yours too. You can run it year round and not worry about anything even if you take a run up to Canada or somewhwere else that gets real hot or real cold.
