I´ve just got back from the swedish cartest wich does a yearly inspection of our cars. Brakes, rust etc and emissions.
My Dodge Durango from -98 have the 5.9 magnum gas engine and it also ofcourse have the bellypan gasket failiure that is common to these engines. Result- oilsucker a gallon over 4k miles, it has done this for the last four years i´ve owned it and prolly for a long time before. The cat and the lamda is still oem despite the age and 120 k miles.
Ive run hdeo in it for the years ive used it and alway been nervous for the sniff test.
But as always, it passed with flying colours
-Lamda: 1.0037 limit 0,99-1.01
-HC: 7 ppm limit 100 ppm
-Nox, dont remember but way under limit.
Infact it beat a couple of year old volvo v70 2.5T that was in there at the same time, and not by a litle.
Im getting more and more satisfied with HDEO.
