Anyone else run into trouble getting the last 1/2 quart or so out of the bag? It appears there's multiple layers in the bag, and there's alot of oil trapped in it that doesn't come out no matter what I do to the bag - squeezing etc. It looks like you have to cut the bags to get it out. Oil change on Charger 3.6 and it said add 1 qt after putting all I could get out of the bag.
Normally a 5qt jug and 1 additional brings it right to the full line, so we're missing a bunch of oil from what should be 6 quarts in this box / bag. There was a thread on these boxes being short oil about 3 years ago. I haven't chopped the bag. Just added a quart. Tried contacting Chevron a few times, but all you do there is leave a voicemail, and "they'll get back to you" but they don't.

Sound like cutting the bag is the best way especially if the oil is in between layers.

Yep. I remove the bag from the box and inflate the bag with air to allow the remaining oil to drizzle out of the bag.

The only problem with cutting the bag is if you intended to recycle your old oil in that bag.

This looks like a lot of work. Wonder how my 6 gallon bladder from GoVets is going to drain.
