Havoline oil filters on sale for $1.79 at Fred's

I read about Havoline filters at Fred's here yesterday. I went there today and found them on sale for $1.79 each. Now that is what I call a bargain.

Yup, I checked at Fred's today, on sale here too. FWIW, at least a couple of members here have dissected them, and say that they look identical to the Purolator Premium Plus. At $1.79 sale price(or even $2.09 reg price), great bang-for-the-buck oil filter.

BTW- I also saw that Fred's has Formula Shell dino for $1.50/qt in 10w30 and 10w40. The 10w30 was the first SM-grade Formula Shell I've seen!
