Have you noticed a weight difference??

I can definitely sense the balance of certain types of jugs.

To be clear, the design of the jug and in particular the design and placement of the handle might make one jug feel heavier than another one even though both have the same volume. It’s a perception and not a actual weight difference.

Growing up I was asked which was heavier, 50 pounds of lead or 50 pounds of feathers. Of course they both weigh the same but try picking up 50 pounds of feathers.

Jetronic said above, "0.84 is not 0.840... it could be anything from 0.835 to 0.844".

I'm always open to math correction be it calculational or nomenclatural. Thanks.
So if my math was OK I am covered by averaging, no?

I was speaking in jest regarding jugs.

I always noticed a slight difference between say a pennzoil 5w30 5 quart bottle and a mobile 5w30 5 quart bottle. I'll have to weigh them sometime and post it up here too see if I truly lost a marble or not 🤣

I used up my stash of Pennzoil Ultra 5W-30 in the 5 quart jugs and picked up some Mobil 1 ESP 0W-30 and I said to myself this ESP is heavier. Are Mobil 1 users stronger than Pennzoil users?

There's something in the handles that either dig into your hands like a seam or have some sort of ergonomic advantage/ disadvantage.
Studied exercise physiology in college - most people have no clue how significant ergonomics are on everything in life. It's like a placebo effect on steroids
