Bought Brand New Cared for 110% - always Been Very Good .. I Just had to do Tune Up on Heavy Fab Deck
299hrs Idlers Pulley's giving up ..
After some Investigation into all Items that could Possible Go Wrong - some thing I haven't done in 9 yrs . .

I Ran Across these New Designed PTO's - so after reading up on those - I decides seeing I'm down for Parts
New PTO's have Many Perks - I'd Try One & See ..

Gen 3 PTO - have Better Bearings & are Rebuild-able - Old styles are Not ..
Gen 3 are Smoother on Engagement & Produce Over all Less Sound & Vibrations ( Husqvarna is Fine ) but I'd wanted to see ..
Gen 3 PTO's also come with Long Warranty
Gen 3 PTO's also have Air Gaps that are Fully Adjustable , well Now took some Digging into as Most Knew Nothing about Topic . .

I'm Happy to Report - that 110% All are Very True - Smoother , Quieter , Less Heat During Operation & Adjustable & Rebuild-able ..

Win Win & anywhere from $100 to $250 Less Money then Factory Unit ~ Talk about Mark Up ..

Custom Fit Stop Bar & Redo - Air Gaps 3 Times.webp

Old Clutch :

Old Pto Not Rebuildable.webp

Bigger KT-745 Kohler 26hp has HD Crank - note shaft size ..

No My Grand Fathers 77 yr Old Jack is Not Curved - Note Jeweler's Files & Caliper
A Must for any Install

Need Real Tools to Rebuild Deck & PTO.webp

Has K66 in It which does Great Job - easily Pulls 600 lbs up Hill .. only short Burst , as I Only need to Go 200 ft ..
as I was Building Rock Garden - Changed Out 200 hr on clock - VR1 & Husqvarna Filter ..

Old Came Out was Darker then New stuff , but Looked & Smelled A ~ OK

Normally it just Wagon Full of Leaves 98% Time ..

Dual Two Mount as move Boat Trailer around Yard once in while - Handy

Has Dual Hitch as I Move a Boat Trailer once in while.webp

Sorry about that Lost track of My Own Post - Not sure where to Find them on this Site - generally
It's like at Activity under Account ?

Anyhow -All PTO's are Generally set to be in .013-.016 Range is My Understanding ..

Plus a Burnishing ~ In ~ Procedure must be Done - somewhere between 25-55 Times - Depending on
Length of Time of Each Duty Cycle Used to do ~ Burnishing ~ 5 sec. on 5 sec, off or 8 seconds On & 10 seconds Off ..

etc. Then Rechecking Air Gap on PTO should be around .015
