I'm getting ready to go on a trip so I thought I'd add a little protection. Washed car last night and went out and got a new bottle of TW hybrid solutions ceramic spray coating. I've had very good luck with this in the past....easy on easy off and lasts for several months. This morning I worked in the garage and temp was about 84 degrees. Shaked the bottle well and worked in 2x2 or so foot squares. Sprayed on easily but wiping it off became a real pain. It was simply smearing all over the place. I used some brand new micro fiber cloths and ended using several more older ones to make sure they were not the culprit. I'm pretty PO'd right now as I've never had this problem before. The whole hood is a streaky mess. I thinking my only alternative will be to use a cleaner wax to remove this stuff. Any ideas as to why this happened? Like I said I have used this many times before without issue.

Found this from searching:

Streaking from Turtle Wax Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Spray Coating is almost always caused by using too much product or applying it to a hot surface. To fix existing streaks and prevent them moving forward, follow this straightforward process. How to Fix Existing StreaksWipe with a damp towel: Take a clean microfiber towel and lightly mist it with water. Gently wipe down the streaky areas; this helps re-activate and "level" the high spots of the coating.Buff immediately: Follow up instantly with a second, completely clean and dry microfiber towel to buff the panel until it's perfectly clear and glossy.Use more towels: Avoid using a single towel for the entire car. Keep 4 to 5 fresh, clean microfiber towels on standby to prevent cross-contamination and smearing. How to Prevent Streaking Next TimeUse less product: You only need 1 to 2 sprays per panel. Alternatively, spray directly onto a microfiber applicator pad instead of the paint.Work on cool paint: Never apply this product when the vehicle is in direct sunlight or the painted panels are hot to the touch, as this causes the coating to flash too quickly.Work in small sections: Apply and buff one panel at a time (e.g., half of a hood) rather than spraying the whole car before wiping.

Hood may have been hot. I like that product for the price/performance factor, but I only apply it in cooler months.
Car sat in garage all night and not used before application. Outdoor temp was 84 so not too warm. Never had the problem before so I'm baffled why this happened.. Will try SatinSilver's remedies listed above.
