Any experience with this so far? I know the turtle wax spray on ceramic made quite a stir when it was new but kind of faded into obscurity as the competition heated up. How's this stuff? Will it out do my all in one from Griots?

I'm also a fan of Turtle Wax's Hybrid Solutions. For OTC products, they perform very well and give good results at a fairly low cost.

I've personally moved on to actual Ceramic Coatings & their related care-products, but still think you could do worse than Hybrid Solutions.

This is my previous Camaro after HS Polish & Wax and the Graphene/Ceramic Paste wax.

Shiny Saturday.webp

What cleaner-wax type product would you recommend then?

From the Hybrid Solutions Line, if what you want is a one-step, cleaner with protection, I say the Ceramic Polish & Wax. It really deep cleans the paint well, deals with minor swirls & imperfections nicely and leaves protection behind.

As with any 'All-In-One,' it isn't exceptional in either the correction or protection catagory, but if all you're lookiing for is a good cleaning, with light correction and some protecting ability in a single step, this is a good choice. If you're looking to 'Up Your Game,' and are willing to do multiple steps, then I would suggest the HS One & Done Compound, followed by one of their protective "waxes" that have no abrasives ... (in no particular order) Flex Wax, Ceramic Spray Coating, Ceramic/Graphene Paste Wax or Max Wax

I've used both the Griots 3 in 1 and the Hybrid Solutions sprays in the past 2-3 years, and I prefer the Griots all day long. Durability seems as good or better and it streaks way less/is more forgiving with application.

The Hybrid Solutions Ceramic Polish Car Wax is nothing like the Hybrid Solutions spray. It's a polish, intended to be applied by a DA or similar. It's a paint correction and protection product. The original HS spray is just for protection. And speaking of the original, I'm a huge fan. Love that stuff.

Help me out please. I purchased some Hybrid Solutions Black Acrylic Ceramic Spray Wax. I followed the directions and it seems to have a lot of streaks. Any advice, anyone?

You put too much of it on.
Also does it say not to put it on in the sun or hot panels.
Also, does it say it only do one panel at a time/2 small areas so that you can wipe it off fairly quickly some products you need to let it sit and cure and others you need to wipe off as soon as you apply them.

My impression is that ceramic coatings are not the perfect answer due to water spotting.
It is good to use wax either alone or on top of a ceramic coating as a sacrificial layer so that the minerals do not eat into the ceramic coating or your clearcoat.

I've never used the black, but the regular Hybrid Solutions instructions are to wipe on, wait to dry, then lightly buff to remove any haze. Personally, I don't bother to buff off the haze, but then my car isn't black, and the haze doesn't really show much. Plus, it goes away after your next wash job.
