Coastal South Carolina, if Wiki is correct doesn't get much below freezing ?
If that's the cse, there is virtually no difference between 0W, 5W, and 10W (or 15W) at your typical starting temperatures.
For an e.g. Mobil 1 5W30 and 0W30 would be virtually identical.
If you are seriously below freezing, the "W" rating becomes very important.
