Has anybody used a Facet thermostat? They seem to be made in Italy

A gasket is included, and it is less than half the price of the dealer. Facet is probably better than Stant and Motorad aftermarket.

Rock Auto is out of Aisin, though there is one on eBay at a good price.

Got one in my Saab right now. Yes, made in Italy two years on works well.

I got my Facet thermostat today. Although the gasket was included, it wasn't actually installed on the thermostat. I slipped it on.

Looks similar to a stant. They say you can tell a lot about the quality of a t-stat by the size of the wax pellet chamber.

Be sure to put the bleeder in the correct position.
