Has anybody here used Nord-Lock washers before?

video demonstration of the technology, explains it better than I can. These are available from McMaster-Carr for approx. $10 for 25 pairs, in the sizes I'd be using them. Just looking to see if anyone's used them first hand.

I used Nord-Lock washers between the axle flange nuts and the dropouts on my mountain bike with good success ca 15 years ago. Never seen them locally.

I looked into using them on some heavy machinery one time, and I liked the little samples they gave me, but they wanted ridiculous money for them in the size I needed. I don't remember the bolt size, but it was probably 1-1/2" or bigger.
