Sitting here in the Pit looking at a Hemi that will eventually be assembled, run a few seconds under power, and be torn apart again for a rebuild.

True, Ford's Cammer (427 SOHC) and the BOSS 429 were both hemispherical chambered.

IIRC my 55 Desoto had a real hemi, called the Firedome. It was a 291 and ran quite well, 2 speed automatic and power seat!
