Happy Fourth of July fellow BITOG’ers.
Today is also my parents 29th anniversary. My dad always jokes saying he made a mistake picking July 4th because it was one holiday that you don’t have to give a gift for but now he does
.
Hopefully everyone will enjoy their day. We are probably going on a picnic with my sister and her husband and kids. Or if we don’t do that we will probably grill steaks

My dad was born New Year’s Day and I was due on the 4th of July … I missed by a couple. He used to claim they even celebrated his birthday up in New York,Happy Fourth of July fellow BITOG’ers.

My birthday is the 4th. So is my sister, who's 4 years younger. It was always my sister's birthday growing up, though, ha. Neither of us were due on the 4th, FWIW.
The nice thing about it is that I was never in school or had to work on my birthday.
