Hankook Dynapro AT2

Weird-we had Dynapro AS RH03s on a bunch of E-250s, had really good luck with them. They're even on the Express 3500 in my sig! Then again, all the other Hankooks I've had have been shaky...

Ditto. The were oem on my f150. Rolled smooth and quiet, but were below average when wet. They may need more weight on them to really bite. I replaced them long before the tread was worn.

Had some, not OE though, on my old 2011 Silverado Z71. Worked great for what I did with the truck. /shrug

Just an FYI:

OE tires are completely different than the tires you get from the corner tire dealer - even if the name is the same.

That's because an OE tire is built to the OEM's spec's, which are quite different than what the tire manufacturer would use if they were designing the tire. So any shortcoming an OE tire might have might not be present in replacement tires - even if the name is the same.

These are actually the HT, not the AT variant. Maybe our roadways are just really slick in the wet but the previous Pirelli Scorpion AS+2 rocked!

The HTs should be better in the wet on road than the ATs. In my experience, Hankooks are an average tire, good for daily driving

F150 vs E250, wouldn't the E250 have LT tires and thus (perhaps) be different tread at that? plus different weight for different applications (loaded work van, for instance). Dunno. Hankook usually isn't on my radar for tires.

I'm starting to think that OEM tires are just meant to get you home from the dealer, the tires seem rarely good for anything other than bare pavement.

t had high ratings on tire rack??
Good point. Now that I'm re-reading this thread, the OP's signature says 2019 F150. Is this on a new F150 or on a 2019 F150? And regardless, how many miles on the tires?

Bought 'take offs', they really aren't very good in the wet. And after another look, they are AT2. Must be a low silica content compound.

Can you check the date code? As take-offs I would expect them to be nearly new, but wanted to make sure.

I replaced those OEM dynapro's on my fx4 f150 with Nitto Terra Grappler's. Big mistake, the Nitto is much more noisy and are terrible in the rain compared to the dynapro.
Although the Nitto is a little better off road I wish I had purchased the OEM dynapro instead. The Hankook seems to be a decent balance of wet traction, dirt road capability and highway use / low road noise.
