That is pretty cool!

But I gotta ask, did you anticipate that this was possible, and reset the trip odometer in advance so it would read 789 when the odometer read 123456? Even if you did, it's cool that you were able do plan that, and do the right math to get there.

Doubt it’s his, look at his sig, doesn’t look like a modern odometer. I could be wrong. Great post though op, 😆

Good thing your life or someone else's life didn't end at 123456(789.0) miles so you could take a snapshot at your odometer on the freeway. Very insignificant to me.

I posted this one in the odometer thread when I hit the mark - and yes, I did set the Trip "B" odometer at a specific point to have this work out.

I'd be more worried about the brake warning light! I'm sure that isn't the OP.
Well, since the transmission is in park, and the speedometer reads zero, one would surmise that the car isn’t moving, and that the parking brake being engaged is reasonable…

All good, but do you know what 248,622 is?
The mileage my neighbor reached in his '89 Volvo 240 when it was totaled.....by his kid.....you guessed it, texting.
He was remarkably cool about it.
