Had some maintenance done today.

I needed to get an inspection on our (mainly my wife's) Saturn Vue today. I work crazy hours, so I changed the oil a tad early, figuring if I didn't get it done today, I would go too long.

It's the AWD 3.6. Nice power, but sucks gas worse than my stang! Really! I love it, though.

Got the inspection, along with QSGB 5w30, and a (GASP! OCOD).
Changed the air and cabin filter, and tire rotation. Topped off the rest of the fluids.

Then headed to the car wash to clean out endless amounts of toddler and baby snacks from the car. Goldfish crumbs are worse than sand from the beach. You will never get rid of all of them, lol!

I hear ya. I wash and do the interior on the wifes car every couple days. Time or no time for it. I also check the fluids and what not cause she shouldnt have to. I dont have kids but i find if i keep up with it my 4 hour wash and detail turns into a 2.5-3 hour one.

My wife works in Home Health care, and LIVES in her truck. 150-200 miles in one day is not unusual, and she drives it like Mario Andretti.

Every Saturday I get on it a bit, usually a wash and a quick trash out inside. What a mess!

I guess it's love.

I hear ya brother! I have to do a Wash, clean-out and fluid check on the wifes car every week. Gotta keep the wife happy. Gotta keep it looking and running good, otherwise she is gonna want a new Buick! Tryin to hold her off for a few more years, lol.
